   My entry into the world of hi-fi was mostly by chance-- I began as a home theater afficianado, but quickly recognized the musicality of my new speakers. My musical tastes are relatively diverse, even moreso since I've begun dabbling in SACD releases.

Whenever I have a new guest in my listening room who hasn't been exposed to SACD or other high resolution formats, this is the disc I grab to "wow" them. In 1988, Peter Gabriel's compositions for 'The Last Temptation of Christ' were nothing short of groundbreaking. They still hold up quite well today, even though their world beat nature and heavy use of synthesizer date them slightly.
