i don't really "do reviews," and i mostly listen to classical. but this sacd is just fantabulous and i am a member of the philip bailey fan club now! i've actually had the disc for a year or so, and always liked it, but i just set up my sacd playback properly, with five matched speakers and a sub, ... more

has anyone heard this sacd player? i believe it is just coming on the market, but there may have been a few around in the states as early as january. it is apparently the replacement for the marantz 8260. however the 8001 appears to be stereo only, like their higher end units. music direct has it for $899. you may have seen an announcement about ... more
