What totally sucks is that there is no easy way to obtain this disc without purchasing the entire frickin' package with LP, CDs, DVD, etc. That being said, I persuaded someone to sell me just the Blu-Ray.

Oh man, will this disc ever take you back and is it yummy good or what! Seriously, the sound of hi-rez Aqualung is absolutely to die for. You will not be able to stop playing this disc, it is that good.

Another I would recommend in similar genre is the DVD-A of the original ELP. Both are altogether enveloping hi-rez notalgic experiences of the highest order.

BTW, my system is only two channel. Can only imagine how delicious Steven Wilson's multichannel version sounds. But trust me on this, if yours is a two channel rig like mine, you will not be left wanting...

Being a huge Jethro Tull nutcase when i first heard about a super deluxe edition of the legendary
Aqualung as the 25th Anniversary edition which i also have was quite poor sound wise, quality wise,
it was a total waste on time, and now 15 years later arrives the penultimate edition, the packaging
alone is unbelievable with members from the past giving their own personal insight to the album. As you can imagine side 1 is the original album in stereo, side we get bonus material and some earlier
versions and demos, and on the dvd album mixed in 5.1 with an additional 4 tracks, quad mix and the big one too the bluray edition, all in all it's huge and the sound quality is also amazing, on top of this great release Thick As A Brick 1&2 box sets and the recent 4 disc box set of A Passion Play, next up will be "War Child" 4 disc box set, there is so much to get through, but if you are a fan it's
well worth it, great stuff.

Same as other reviewer did not want the whole set, bought for 2 disc's DVD-A and Blu-Ray. Decided that the best mix is the original Quad mix and its on both disc's. So had the Blu-Ray disc stolen (party at my place unknown friend of a friend thing and disc comes up missing) kept the DVD-a and sold the rest 2 cd's and 180g Vinyl with Booklet. The Blu-Ray and DVD-Audio are equal in sound quality.
