Performance:   Sonics:
Clearly a pristine source and restoration, this lacks the slight digital grunge of the first CD mastering (BMW CD1) by Rob Fraboni and Barry Diament (which I suspect was down to the quality of ADC's used in the early-mid 80's).

However, that's where the good news ends - and its a BIG however - the mastering here is so ludicrously hot there is little dynamic range left at all (the DR average summed of all tracks is a pathetic 6..) everything is super loud, bass is bloated, all the music hits you all at once, the content is timeless, the artist lives upto the Legendary status but sadly I cannot recommend this disc at all, there's little high fidelity about it.

Performance:   Sonics:
This High Fidelity Pure Audio Blu-Ray edition does sound quite muddy on quite a few tracks.

Having said that, I do not have any previous CDs, vinyl etc to compare it to.

My disc has an additional bonus track (track 8 "Easy Skanking) making 16 tracks in total.

If you're a Bob Marly fan, you'll no doubt like this compilation, as does my wife!

You may, however, be disappointed by the sonics if you're an audiophile.
As fredlue mentions, the dynamic range isn't evident.
I'd also be interested if anyone can also measure and comment on the frequency response ranges.
