Performance:
I haven't heard Naxos's Blu-ray Audio version, but I have both CDs of Nebolsin's Chopin Series.
This is the first recording which uses Polish New Chopin Edition. There are some different things [in Concerto] than usual. It is interesting addition, but I hoped that they used normal editions (for example Breitkopf & Härtel's Complete Works Edition).
Anyway, Nebolsin is pretty good Chopin pianist. His recordings of Liszt's Piano Concertos with Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra was excellent. There his touching is more gently, specially in the beautiful second movement.
The other pieces are also very interesting. But I cannot understand, why Naxos released these albums on two Blu-ray Audio discs? They would be captured on a single disc.
