Here is one of the discs that made me glad I discovered SACD. I had never even heard of Dana Winner until I was looking for a new SACD to buy and stumbled across this disc. Consisting of 15 tracks that are covers of some of her favorite songs and sung in English, she finds a way to make some well known classics her own. From "Moonlight Shadow" through "Old & Wise", she takes us on a musical journey that will have you nod your head as you recognize tune after tune yet marvel at how new some of these songs sound. My favorite track is "Woman In Love" which surpasses the original version. The multi-channel is very effective and never resorts to cheap tricks. Although not a true DSD recording, it still stands out as one of the best multi-channel experiences you can have. In stereo, the disc also shines and easily beats the Redbook version. If you are looking to experience something that is "old but new", you can not do any better.

Dana Winner is a pretty nice looking singer, with a pretty voice. The album is great for easy listening purposes. It’s both sonically and musically very nice to the ears.
There are some nice interpretations of some classic songs on here, so are even better than the original versions. So are not, but unlike a lot of cover artist she doesn’t destroy the original, she just makes it a bit different.
