Performance:   Sonics:
Spitball "Pop Condition" represents a unique disc in the world of SACD. Not only is it the only hybrid disc released by Sony to date, it is also almost impossible to find. Sony signed and dropped this band in a short time. Frankly, it is not worth hunting it down.

The sonics are serviceable and the SACD is an improvement over the CD layer. However, this disc will never win awards for sonics. As for the music, Spitball is one of the many fast rock bands of today. Don't let the title of this album fool you. I would consider this to be wanna be Nine Inch Nails/Green Day music and not pop music. Although "Underestimated" and the title track are catchy, the rest of this material is boring and loud with no point. The Thumb SACD is much better representation of this kind of music.
