Performance:   Sonics:
I like this SACD. It's a well recorded, live performance. It's not reference material, but its better than most SACDs.

The performance is also above average. Denver sings most of his hits, and he does it very well. No surprises here.

Also, with 16 cuts, there's a lot of music for the money.

This title is now out of print, although you may still be able to find a copy floating around. I am not a John Denver fan, although I am quite familiar with his hits. However, this recent purchase really pulled me into his music. On this SACD, JD gave an excellent performance that was both emotional and uplifting. Great backing from his band, including guitarist James Burton. The sound quality is very good, with production being done by Bob Irwin and Vic Anesini. Highly recommended!
