This is an old Blue Note album, dating from 1961. The remastered SACD has a 2008 copyright. In June 2010, Sibelius2 reviewed the partner Dexter Gordon SACD “Go”, and my comments are quite similar regarding the recording quality. The album is a jazz classic, and this is probably the best-sounding version available. It also includes the bonus track “Landslide”. The performance is excellent, although I reserve 5 star ratings for my preferred jazz musicians. The recording quality is well below that of the best of modern recordings, although I suspect that Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman, the SACD mastering engineers, did the best that could be done with the materials available.
