| NOT A HYBRID!!!!!!! i just received my copy of this soundtrack and it is NOT a hybrid! i will just have to wait a little longer to hear it...

A Beautiful Mind - A Beautiful Soundtrack
While it is true that this is NOT a hybrid, don't let that be a reason not to pick this soundtrack up.
Well balanced, neutral spacing through the multichannel mix, good use of center channel but nuanced so the sound envelopes you. I used a touch more bass to balance it and give it a bit more bottom end (mainly because the stereo mix sounded thin) when I listened to it on the multichannel layer) but it does sound warm throughout.
Next to last track is a vocal track with Charlotte Church that does not add a lot but if you're looking for a soundtrack for instrumental background music this one is pretty good.

| I like the music on this album. It's very pleasant and nicely orchestrated. The sound quality is very good, but not really showcase quality.
