This is one that I waited with baited breath for. I'd grown up with a well used US vinyl that I bought in the late '70's but had wanted to hear the original UK version. Well I was not disappointed as this was well worth the wait. It did take a bit of getting used to not hearing "Let's Spend The Night Together" starting off the album. But I found that this flows much better with the track linup.
My only complaint is the sonics. Slight narrowing, noise reduction in places... Not good. But for me the music overshadows any flaws and I can live with it (not much choice as this is the first time this has been released in it's original UK form on digital, ever) until I can dig up an original Decca (both stereo and mono).
