Based on the first review of this disc I ordered it out of curiosity. Now I have listened to it twice, I felt an additional voice of approval was appropriate. I found it exciting; vibrant; and one of the finest classical guitar recordings in my collection, equal to the Rodrigo works.
The fact Giuliani was in Vienna with Beethoven, and apparently respected by him, and performed under him, gives credence to his contributions. Anyway, I believe this to be an essential recording for any classical music lover, and I highly recommend it.
