Performance:   Sonics:
WOW!
This is an excellent sounding SACD that contains some standout system demo tracks.I expect that a sampler from this 'audiophile label' would sound good and it does shine here. The wide soundstage and wonderful holographic image make this a sonic delight. If you have the system, your speakers should disappear. Each instrument has a firm position with air that surrounds them.If your system is set up and can reproduce it,it will sound like you are right there.Very immediate.
The big surprise is how much I enjoyed the music. Nice playing this disc from start to finish. That is not always the case on samplers.'She's So Heavy' and 'Stormy Monday' are standouts.A very nice blend of vocals, jazz and blues.
The first one in this series is the one to get IMHO.
Recommended and currently in rotation.
