We are not exactly short of organ SACDs when you do a search there are plenty already.As I am no expert on organ playing I will leave that part of the reveiew to our in house organist but as a disc to sit and enjoy or even just wallow in some magnificent sounds and glorious tunes then this disc is well worth it.The majesty starts with the warhorse Toccata and Fugue which is followed by a glorious Albinoni Adagio More well known Bach and some very nice Vierne.We then progress timewise forward to Thalen-Ball and Karg Elert before hearing an astounding sounding Pietro Alessandro Toccatina for Flutes.More high qua;ity works and composers follow but you will love the Scott Joplin soundalike in William Albright and closing splendour in Widor 5th Organ Symphony.70.30 minutes of sonic delight.If you only want one organ disc to cover your needs then look no further. Picture and notes comments as per usual.decent gaps?.....

This disc is useless. The instrument is non-descript, as is the playing. I am an organist and I found NOTHING exciting here. The performances are clean, that's all. The instrument has no 32 foot stops, so don't expect house-shaking bass, there is NONE! Even at the exemplary low cost of these releases, and there are quite a few that are excellent, this one can be safely passed up. Also, there is NO real room resonance for the non-existent bass response... Not good... Too bad... all that wasted plastic...
