This is a great Keiko Lee (studio) performance, it is know that she is a singer what delivery much more on live performances, where she and her Doki Doki Monsters band can made memorable performances as the Live 1999 SACD.
But If you like cool performances you will like this SACD, I love it, the cover photo is a fine example of the musical refinament of this disc, cool, personal, steady, confident performance.
The band personel are Soichi Noriki-piano,keyboards, Benisuke Sakai-bass, Yuichi Togashiki-drums, Jiro Yoshida-guitar. The plenty of color photos booklet inform ''These tunes were once played by Miles Davis, all except =Who´s Screaming= which we wish he could have...
Also the booklet have the songs lyrics in english and japanese, the disc is pictured in degradê blue, a careful production for this SACD.
Seems it was recorded in May,June,July(2004?) at Sony Music Studios Tokyo, the sound quality is excelent, as are others Sony/CBS KL SACDs, by the kind of transparency on the hi frequencies the recording is a PCM one, IF you know this recording is DSD, Please fell free to inform, it do not sound like DSD to me, instead sound like PCM processed to these ears.
BarCode 4547366016840, the CD layer is a CD Text, a very nice feature to young boys, but useless to sound quality, the SACD layer is Stereo only, Time is 57:05 and the fourteen tracks are:
