More information on this Up fairly close Night club type recording is that it is slightly better and warmer than a normal CD. It states in the booklet that "Bill" wanted to do other stuff that he couldnt do with The Stones and this is what you get.
A wide mixture of styles from a Jazz (George Fame) Let the good times Roll is followed by Boogie / Glen Miller / soul / Jive / Blues / Reggae / R&B / skiffle /and gospelish rock with a J J Cale country Rock boogie number lasting an overlong 9 minutes containing several guitar breaks then you certainly get a variety of music from a variety of his artistic friends including Gary Brooker Albert Lee Graham Bond Terry Taylor and Frank Head plus Bev Skeete and Janice Hoyle as added vocalist and backing.
Highlights are an exceptional I Put a spell on you and reggae Lead me to the Water, Mystery train , skiffle and the Anyway the (long) wind Blows.Cannot quite make out the poorest track Melody (would have been better if they had put one in?)
Some average stuff on here compared with the hit originals (Groovin) unless you are a devotee of these artists Its not going to blow you away..

stereo sonics: This live record is not brilliant, not airy, not today´s state of the art
