Review by SimonTJU September 12, 2003
Performance:   Sonics:
One of my favorite operas. Great dissapointment. Sonic is excellent, voices are very good. Performance? none. All opera is about obsession. Old duches about three cards, German about lisa, then gambling then old duches. Not hobbies, there are obsessions - dark, passionate fully absorbing etc. Well, here a few stories are told in very melodious voices (no edge, brightness - thanks to pure DSD recording - I am sure). No, its boring, boring, boring. Sorry. Simon
