Performance:   Sonics:
All three musicians playing here are masters of their instruments and the included tracks are excellent. Imaginative improvisation with spicy latin feeling. Two discs feature over two hours of amazing material and you can find this release at some stores for the price of a one regular SACD.

The sonics are very good, surround channels provide the needed hall ambience to provide a live gig feeling. Close your eyes and you can imagine you are right there at the Blue Note listening to the actual show. Overall, I wouldn't rate this release sonically as high as most other (studio) Telarc releases thou, but this is of course a live performance.

It's no wonder this album won a Grammy - it's hard to find a track you don't like. The musicians and music is awesome! If you like jazz with a latin influence, this is your SACD.
