This is a country blues album--something you would expect from some rural eastern area.. This is not New Orleans or Memphis blues. It is a poor, white man's blues. At first I did not care for the distictive vocals, but immediately found the lyrics interesting. I now love this album. I've played it over 30 times. I've listened to it in my car and now have the album in my compter as a MP3 file.

I bought this album many years ago. Here it is difficult to say ... Is it more good music quality or better technical quality?
I do not know. Certainly, this is music that we can say "easy listening", but that does not mean "trivial."

A real pleasure to listen to.... It is not blues as we know, not Nashville country-style ... we could say...a mix of these things, very original... and sung / played in a superlative matter.

A SACD of 15 years ago, when the discs "superaudio" were brought on the market.
Meanwhile, much has happened in the audiophile_fileld, many things have improved. But this is a record that sounded good then and continues to be good on all fronts today.

I, certainly, would buy it again...
