"Polyphonic Man" Strikes Again! Jerry Douglas has been popping up everywhere on the American "New Bluegrass" scene. He is fast becoming an icon and deservedly so. His mastery of the polyphonic Dobro and the diversity of music is drawing more and more followers every day and "Lookout For Hope" is certainly going to add to them. As the album is so new to me I haven't had the time to establish favourites although the tracks 'Footsteps Fall' with Maura O'Connell vocals and 'Lookout For Hope, the title track stand out. another good one is 'The Suit' featuring James Taylor vocals. Heck, this is one STRONG album with many other great cuts. As far as sound quality goes it is what you would expect with this production crew and is right up there with the best of them. If this is your type of music don't pass up 'Lookout For Hope 'cause you'll be missing something special.
