I love this album so needless to say I have had it on vinyl, Cd (several remasters), SACD, HDAD and I can honestly say this is the best I have ever herd the record. This is my favorite Coltrane album and I have lost track oh how many times I have listened to it. The 192/24 DTS HD- MASTER is definatly the way to hear it. For an album recorded Over 50 years ago the sound is amazing. Little Bits of destortion here and there but they have been on ever version I have owned. This has better sound then "A Love Supreme" (comparing the two Blu rays). Anyone who loves this album, I would think, would be extremely happy with the Blu ray Pure Audio release.
So come on guys get some more Jazz titles out there. We finally have a perfect digital format and the titles are dribbling out. You finally have a formate that does not require a special player that to my understanding 1/3 of North American's have in their homes. A little advertising and this could be the new Audiophile format.
