Performance:   Sonics:
Yes: Big Generator Hybrid SACD Stereo Only Released 2014

This is the exact same Hybrid SACD disc that was included in the High Vibrations box set, just sold solo and different packaging.

Performance: Great performance, I have always loved this band and this disc is one of the better. Trevor Rabin continues to be a part of the new Yes. There 12th studio album released in 1987.

Stereo Sonics: I listened to via HDMI outs, with right/left and sub speakers all working great. I am mostly dissapointed as the sonics for a hybrid sacd did not sound as good as I would have hoped. Music was a little flat and drums certainly did not resonate. Not a single wow factor.
I should have looked at the DR values prior to purchase. This disc has a DR 8, how disappointing is that whereas the RBCD of 1987 has a DR 15, that really sucks. What a waste of money.

Packaging: At least this was fun with the big 7" X 7" mini LP. Original liner notes, Japanese booklet, etc. Note, the blue/green disc cover is not the original color as it was yellow at least in the US when the disc was first released.

What a bummer, I so wanted this to be good.

Don't buy it is my recommendation. Do buy the Amazon 1990 release RBCD for $10.34.
