EMI has been issuing on SACD some of their older recordings from the fifties and sixties, such as Carl Schuricht's Bruckner 8 and 9, and Richter's Grieg and Schumann piano concertos. When will they issue in SACD format some of their four-channel recordings from the seventies? I have on three Angel LPs a four channel recording of Haydn's "The Seasons" conducted by Karajan. Pentatone has issued many of the Philips four channel analogue recordings in SACD, and they sound terrific. In my opinion, these four channel and direct to disc recordings from the seventies should be prime candidates for issue on SACD.
