Rather strangely, all cuts are excerpts under 2 minutes each.
And it's also a promo NOT FOR SALE.
Who wants excerpts on an entire album?
A cheesy blip on the SACD radar..........

Which is the duration of the attention span of the average audio show visitor ;-)
"Hörproben" = listening samples
This looks like a demo disc given to hifi companies and stores. Not worth putting into the database, as it was never for sale.

Well, the Fischer/BPO sampler put out years ago was never for sale either but it's in the database.

Yes, but the works on Budapest Live - Ivan Fischer are all complete. This sampler "Hear Feel Believe" has one and a half minute snippets of 11 numbers, making the SACD less than 20 minutes long. Personally I see no value in that since there is plenty of room for the entire songs or movements.

Shouldn't make a difference at all. The Fischer disc was promotional and not for sale either. That's what should make the distinction.

Because it was added pre-barcode stipulations. If it were "released" today, it wouldn't make it...

Makes sense to me.

Actually I agree with Samay on this one. Commercial availability should not be the sole arbiter of inclusion on the data-base otherwise it is of limited historical relevance.

That's right. Zeus wasn't eager to add it but I provided all the details including the image, scaled to the right sizes and eventually he included it, though already then he was reluctant to spend time on non-commercial samplers.
It's catalog number (4487) is very high though. Should have been under 12 or so, like Dvorak: Symphony Nos. 8, 9 - Fischer and Dvorak: Slavonic Dances - Fischer, titles that it probably preceded.
Interesting disc BTW, this German promo. I've been involved with SACD for ages and never seen this one before. Would love to add it to my collection. Should probably program an eBay alert for it.
