While I am still building on my concert hall/music room/cinema, I have to listen to SACD:s via a SONY PS3 on a Bose TV system, while at home.

I hear a distinctive "click" at every track change. Bothersome in attacca passages.

Is this usual and can one do anything about it?

Not unusual, it is a software bug in so-so players. If there is no firmware update fix available you can not do anything about it.

I have the same in my OPPO BDP-80. They never fixed it. Classical listeners are a small minority.

Hello guys
I want to share with you my experience with one Sony NS 900V SACD/CD player I have. I got the same problem, some hybrid SACD did not play because it only read the CD layer.

Great 1st post.

Hi, Robert,

Never used PS3 for SACD. How did you connect?
Can you set the audio input select fixed on your Bose TV?

Had help, but I believe it was an HDMI cable straight from the PS3 to a BOSE TV input.

This was also a problem with the early Oppo 83, but was fixed by firmware. It was never a problem on the 93/95, AFAIK. You might recheck to see if there is a newer firmware for your player that might just fix it at the Oppo site.
