+1. The S/S disc is excellent; the Litton Mahler that Robert also refers too was in mediocre sound and the Gorchakova and Domashenko discs were simply awful. The S/S is the only one that remains in my collection. Having said that, Top Music re-released a Delos recording of Janos Starker playing Kodaly on SACD, and it is every bit as self-recommending as that sounds.
