Such a fine rendition of Thomas Campion's "Never weather-beaten sail". I'd love to see Stile Antico devote a future disc to Campion's works, and introduce more people to this little known but excellent composer.

Yes, indeed. All this group's disk are truly excellent.

I pre-ordered this disc zeus. I love it, the viol sounds wonderful. Perhaps my favourite Stile Antico disc.

"Never weather-beaten sail" is lovely, but there are some uncharacteristically less happy moments, such as track 2 - an alto solo who is rather unsteady. Overall, too, I find English Protestant domestic devotional music a little pale and uninteresting, especially next to the glorious music on Stile Antico's Sheppard and Song of Songs discs, which are my favourites for this group.
It is important to note that Stile Antico have a 100% score for recording on SACD, perhaps the only Renaissance choral group to have that distinction. They deserve our full and enthusiastic support.
Perhaps they will record a disc of Osbert Parsely next!

I do like the other discs they've made, but this one is a bit more varied with the viols.
The sound is superb, I agree.
