I think it would also be appropriate to thank Zeus whose SA~CD.net website has been a godsend in providing THE best forum on the internet for all things SACD.

It is attracting producers, etc. of SACDs from all over the world and has definitely given the format a much needed shot in the arm and is indeed a labor of love on Zeus' part.

Total agreement with that! Glad you posted it, Rammiepie.

Absolutely right! This is the world's finest website dedicated to recordings and music reproduction. Without it, I dare say that SACD would have been long gone by now.

Yes, indeed. This is great site thanks to Zeus.

+1 to the four above comments for me as well.

I just bought Arnaldo Cohen's performances of the Liszt concertos/ Totentanz on BIS, an SACD that would've escaped my attention were it not for this site. A number of others in my collection are in the category. This is an invaluable source of reviews and information.

Agreed 100%

I would not have the bulk of my very modest (but growing) SACD collection were it not for this site.

Thanks, Zeus.

I am totally in love with the SACD format. I don't have a turntable, so I can't really comment on vinyl, but having a healthy collection of SACDs, DVDAs, RBCD and Spotify (prob the best internet streaming service in my opinion), I must say the quality of sound on SACD is so incredible, nothing beats it. DVDA does sound good, but not good enough to earn a place above RBCD (price and availability included), so a well mastered RBCD comes in second, then DVDA and finally Spotify.

Hector

You appear to have more hi-fi kit than the rest of us out together... Respect man!

Let's hope it doesn't attract Google, what would happen if Zeus received an offer he couldn't possible refuse.

At least we have some protection as it is 'de facto' a subsidiary of Amazon already but they might swallow it up soon as well?
