Try mdt.co.uk, they only charge 1 pound postage to Australia (1.75 first disc).

I'm in the U.S...and I just posted that prices at J&R in New York are better than anywhere online :p

I would have said before to support this site with your purchases (and have said it), but since Zeus has decided supporting this site isn't worth his effort, Mdt.co.uk is an excellent choice.

My Amazon order of 6 sets of these release just arrived.

Listening to di Stefano's young voice is like yesterday once more. Thanks, EMI.

There are more jewels from EMI's vault. I really want to see EMI continue this effort with other vocalists, such as Franco Corelli, Tito Gobbi, Domingo, Caballe, Mady Mesple (EMI never has her "Voice of Spring" album with Franck Pourcel Orchestra available on RBCD format).

But again, this project seems to re-utilize all the materials that were targeting Japanese market and taste. So we just have to wait and see where Japanese's taste leads EMI to. ;)

Maybe the Enrico Caruso recordings from 1902-04 ;-)

Listened to the Bruckner 9th and once again really love the sound. The adjectives I have are "faithful" and "organic".

Perhaps EMI has not determined all of the titles that they will release in the West, but I really hope that they can announce the titles as soon as they have a list. (For the Japanese market, they announced all of the titles and release dates months ahead.) For that if there are titles that I really like they will not release in the West, I can order from Japan before they go out of print.

They are paying for it, so you should be thankfull. EMI UK could have done this at any time. Once again its the Japanese to the rescue.

Im still buying Japanese EMI releases.

Well, Paid by Japanese also means another thing: probably it will be all stereo. That is really said.

I really want to hear Muti's Aida in multi-channel SACD one day, though the DTS version (OOP now) is already quite good. There is really no room in Japanese taste for this, I guess.

I have that DTS version, Allen, and I quite agree that it would sound splendid in multichannel.

Do you think there will be full length operas in this collection?
