So we get these obscure pieces but the Halvorsen and Svendsen series comes out as RBCD. What gives?

This disc includes
Lohengrin: Prelude to Act 3
Rienzi Overture
Both are on other Järvi Wagner discs from Chandos in this series.
Are these simply duplicates, or new recordings?

A slight typo methinks Dave.

I am wrong about the Rienzi.
I was going by the listing on Presto Classical
that included the Lohengrin: Prelude to Act 3

Polly
It seems typos, errors and more misunderstandings etc etc are becoming the norm.
PS Hope their is nobody named Norm reading this posting as Ive no doubt
that will start another flame war and even piccies in spectrograph forms of norms?
Those ,I suppose, will have to be banned.Im not sure if this will be due to a strong hint or an sacd.net rule.
Well Ive ordered this sacd anyway and like almost every other Chandos item Ive bought, downloads ,uploads , sideloads they all sound from pretty damn good to sonically astounding.Especially their piano items.Never got that Adams as I only bother with music and ehm piccies? lol.
pps
.
The two items you mentioned are available in download 24/96 and sound fantastic.

Dear Mr. Graham Williams,

How did you get this SACD before it's release date of Febuary 27th? Are you given a review copy by Chandos because you agree to review here in SA-CD.net?

Thanks,
Jeff

Exactly so. Graham, as a reviewer here does get them before release.
