I agree, Stephen, and thanks once again for checking up on it. I'm intrigued as to what that "further technical work" might mean. If it ultimately results in improved sonics, then the additional wait will have been worth it. So it's now June or July!
Incidentally, I've also been meaning to ask whether Wilma Cozart Fine was involved in the DSD mastering -- or did she think she had "dome her dash" in the preparation of the CD releases.

Says here in the latest (01.04) SACD catalogue for the US: "The discs will feature new transfers from the original analog master tapes supervised by the founder of the Mercury Living Presence label, Wilma Cozart Fine".

Yes, Claude, that's what I've been led to believe now, too. All I can say is that they had better sound magnificent when they eventually do appear!

According to Universal the MLP SACDs are now scheduled for October, 12th. This year!:-)
