There is no information as to whether this title is multi channel or stereo only.

Does anyone know?

from the Channel Classics website:

We only record Hybrid Stereo/Multichannel

Not absolutely clear, but I think we can reasonably safely assume that all SACDs issued by Channel have both stereo and multichannel SACD versions.

I have it and it says "Surround/5.0" on the back. I listen in stereo so I am telling you this on trust of CC! You will enjoy it, I think - absolutely Podger music, bright, sunny, with a beautiful tone, and you can gaze intermittently at a nice pic of Rachel while you're listening. Recorded in All Saints Church, East Finchley with of course gorgeous sound and a lovely sense of "place". OK?!

Thanks I placed my order, just what the doctor ordered I am sure.

I have put a complete track of one of the Haydn duos as a free test download on our site if you want to hear more than just 30 seconds! You can find it on the home page. You will then get three different sample frequencies to try 192/24,
96/24 and 44/24 bit.

greetings
Jared Sacks

Are you considering adding a DSD download option at some point in the future?

Thanks in advance for the reply.

I tried to download it but I need some sort of additional software I cannot find to be able to open it to play it.

Obert,
It is probably that your Java is not up to date... That is why we have these downloads so that you can first test the download manager.
You can see if it is by going to
http://www.channelclassics.com/browserinformation.
Your Java should be at least 1.6.0

Thanks for the tip. Yes that was the problem. I have now been able to download the sample and have listened - very nice. I can't play the highest resolution sample on my computer, but the middle one was very nice - as far as one can judge through a computer.
