Hello everyone!!

I saw this Queen: Queen

first three Queen album on SACD from Universal Japan!!!

Anyone has some more news?!?

I'm awaiting this for last 10 years......

For single layer, stereo only, these releases are, to use the British phrase, a total rip off.

If they are single layer is non important for me.... But I sincerly hope they will be multichannel!!!

I own "A night at the opera" and "The game" in DVD Audio 5.1 and they are AWESOME!

I think Queen ARE an ideal multichannel band!!!

None of Universal Japan's SHM-SACDs have been multi-channel (AFAIK). Why would they make an exception with Queen?

I don't care about multichannel ,,
hopefully, they source it from an analog master
Now they need to release U2's 'Joshua Tree' on SA-CD.

Don't get me wrong, happy with stereo sacd, although these would ideal mc fodder, just that the premium over cd prices is not justified.

I'm sure they wouldn't. They're targeting audiophiles who are suspicious of anything beyond stereo (and of 'compromises' such as hybrid discs)

I sincerly hope that Universal will publish multichannel SACDs in Europe and outside Japan... They've alredy done lots of multichannes SACDs last years...

I too hope that Universal will review their policy for SACD and release multichannel SACDs again globally.
