AmonRa has been surprisingly resilient...

And is the center of attention, certainly in this thread dedicated to you.

- Unfortunately, it was not Zeus that prompted Petri Kaipinien to post under dozens of different monikers, including but not limited to Hakan, Armilus, AmonRa, Torvi, Ukko, Journeyman, Madde, Shopper, Kuiteh, Onestone, Jullepoika, Audiomaster, Zinkear, and finally, Petrus.

Dear Arnaldo, you must be my most ardent follower, even I did not remember all those monikers, and the two first ones I do not even recognize (sorry guys...). Planning a fan club, I presume?

- Unfortunately,

You could add the total contradiction of some of his "technical opinions vary from name to name"
All never get involved in technical discussion when their childlike over simplistic theories are questioned.Dynamics equal loudest to quietest passages.Give us a break.Look at the breakdown of your simplistic signal levels theories. The tape hiss comment was hilarious.I suppose the DSD noise hump available on every sacd at approx -72db should have wiped out those subsonic errors that Bissie and a whole teams of his top flight engineers totally missed.

The fact is that all these monikers use cut and paste to post technical information robbed from knowledgeable people elsewhere on the net.(sorry Bissie but Blind leading the blind comes to mind) ,or as Arnaldo infers Partially deaf leading the frequency deficient hearers etc.
Of course the suggestion you have your B&Ws modified was out of the question when it was suggested?.Most Rock, reggae Heavy Punks listeners would have identified the erroneous rumble and probably loved it.They might also have wanted the ultrasonics sadly missing from your discs.
I believe their record companies would also hype their artists and writers as genius.Especially if it could be preached free.
Well Bissie if you want to have your already limited street cred reduced from your current dubious status ie due to rants and raves. Then I hope you continue to endorse the resident split personality extremist and accept the consequences.

You give us a space between sentences...

Dynamics, maybe. Dynamic range, meanwhile, is the difference between full level and the smallest detail in the music that the system can deliver before the noise floor takes over. All should know that. ..end copypaste..

On a recent visit to Finland, the tourist guide explained that their Country had only two natural assets.Wood and brainpower.
Later when we were given the opportunity to ask questions .The name of Petrus the "Troll" pictured came up.
"Oh he is classed in the former" was the reply.
No one argued so we moved on to more important things.

Maybe you visited Norway instead? Talking about brainpower, or lack thereof.

(soudtrack: Norwegian wood, the Beatles)

Only an imbecile would mention Norwegian Woods at this current time.

So you Jumped to the wrong conclusion AGAIN.
Yes we visited Norway Denmark Sweden Estonia Germany and Russia.
note in Finland we saw these Wooden dummies with all the different Scandi countries flags and each had different name.
Now that sounds familiar doesnt it.

Any chance that you two might grow up, or better still, take your unfunny high school insults elsewhere?

- Unfortunately, it's rather unsurprising for the owner of a record company that until recently recorded in 44.1 kHz, to support the views of those who think that higher sampling rates will not result in better sound quality.

- Unfortunately, it looks like the reason BIS started to record in 88.2 kHz was to avoid the low-resolution label in download websites. It's either that or the simple fact that higher-resolution is truly better. Just pick one option.

It would seem that we will never be able to make Arnaldo happy.
So when we recorded in 44,1 it was too little for him, and he complained.

And now that we record in 88,2 or 96, he is unhappy again, because of what he thinks are the reasons for the change.

There is no winning with you, is there? Whenever did the reasons matter? The main thing is the result, isn't it? Why don't you come right out with it? You just dislike us, whatever we do, or don't do. Your right, of course, but not a great incentive for "bettering" oneself.

Robert
