I can half answer your question - this disc is just superb; wind up the volume and it just blows you away. However, I never owned the RBCD and obviously would not be buying it just to see of the SACD is better! Compared to the Japanese SHM titles this disc is a snip - if you like her and/or this disc I would take the chance. I can't imagine you'd be disappointed.

Maybe for the rather obscure Amina Claudine Myers album Top music had access to the master tapes. For the other SACDs I doubt that was the case.
Top Music raves about the equipment they use, but never writes anything about the source material. Just like Esoteric.

But I have several, Claude, and they're uniformly pretty excellent sounding.
But I do agree that their sources are suspect.

I think yes. Really this disks are superb. I tried to submit this two time too, but no results. I have some disks from Master music and Aurora, which I tried submit too this the same results. It's a pity.
