Thread: Searching For SACDs Based On Multichannel Audio Track? Help

Can you do this? If not, I highly recommend it! This is a wonderful site, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to search for multichannel SACDs (organize SACDs ONLY if they have a Multi audio track). Pretty much every SACD listed here tells you if its Stereo or Multichannel, so I don't see why it can't be done. I just can't seem to find the option to do it.

If you can search for Multichannel SACDs, please share it! If you could add it to the drop down arrow on the top right banner's drop down menu (where it says "Recent Additions" then there's the "Go!" button right next to it) that would be awesome! I think it would save people a lot of time researching what SACDs to buy!

To my knowledge this can't currently be done; it is a feature I would also love to see someday as I am a 99.9% multichannel SACD buyer myself. The multichannel ("Multi-ch") logo that is displayed next to each title is definitely a help, but I agree a search would be the best.

Most new (classical) releases are multichannel, even if they're not flagged as such here. I can't add multichannel status unless I can confirm the fact. Many labels don't even bother to add this information to their own sites.
