Just got the CD on Thursday so have only had a couple of days. Haven't had the time to follow up yet.

Marantz SA11S2 has no problem with this disk, but Marantz DV7001 has this problem

Played fine in the car(Sony MEX-DV2000) but skipped in the Oppo 980...sigh.

It plays fine with sony playstation 3, no skip.

Is this multi-channel? I've looked everywhere but see nothing mentioned.

So far, ALL of the SHM~SACDs are single~layered, stereo only, discs.....only playable in SACD players.

I've got two Oppo's, the 980H and BDP-83. The 980H exhibits the skipping problem on the Stevie SHM-SACD while the BDP-83 doesn't. This is consistent with Bowie's "Heathen" which won't play through the first track on the 980H but works flawlessly on the BDP-83.
Both Stevie Wonder's and David Bowie's "troubling" SACDs play fine on the 980H with the latest beta firmware:
