I just looked at next years schedule, and they are not scheduled to play any RVW:( there are however, a number of interesting things that I would like to see Pentatone record. Number one among them would be Copeland's Third Symphony. The Carnegie Hall concert looks interesting again.

Pentaman, do you know when Marek Janowski's Bruckner cycle will continue - perhaps with a release of the Fourth Symphony? And hopefully Maestro Pletnev plans to add Manfred Symphony to his latest Tchaikovsky cycle. I don't remember Manfred as part of his 1995 Tch. survey for DG but I may have missed it.

Symphonies 2 & 4 are scheduled to be recorded in October and will be released in the course of 2013 or early 2014. In June of this year we recorded the Mass No. 3 in F minor for release in 2013.

Best, PentaMan

Can't answer for Pletnev's recording plans but he recorded the Manfred (outside of the cycle) in the early 90's (released 1994).

Pentaman. Please could somebody do Dvorak 5 with the Netherlands Phil?

Dear PentaMan, please allow me a moment to thank you and your associates for the splendid recordings you have made available to we music lover/ audiophiles. Hardly a day goes buy when at least one and usually many Pentatone SACDs are in play in my music room - I don't have a precise number but it looks as though I have most of your library in my library. And it's not all about music listening, the "Super Audio CD Sampler - Vol 2" is of special interest to me for all the channel balance/phase check calibration information. As to "Back to the Future" re releases, I presume there are other Quad masters from the golden age of analog in the vaults waiting to be rediscovered - any thing with the Concertgebouw and/or Maestro Haitink?
Best regards.
