Does anyone know if there are any more Elton John sacd releases planned. I have all seven released so far and they are the best quality I have heard. Any Ideas

Universal seems to have abandoned any pop/rock SACD releases for the foreseeable future. Guess the sales figures weren't stimulating enough.

According to crazywater.com, an Elton John fansite, Greg Penny is preparing "Don't Shoot Me..", "Caribou", "Rock of the Westies", and "Blue Moves" for SACD release.

But the news was from December last year, so it's not sure SACDs are still scheduled.

I sure hope so!! I too have all of the current Elton John SACDs and love them!!! I think that sales for pop/rock are down because so few places ever bothered to learn anything about the format, much less bother to stock them!!! Every Elton John SACD I have bought was purchased at Best Buy, who has now apparently stopped selling SACD/DVD-A titles...bummer!!!!

Cheers,
