Has anyone heard this yet? I notice there's no mention of inclusion of the harp in the Durufle. Is it included anyway?

probably too late to be of any use to you, but this is the original recension of the requiem (there are three "authorised" versions), with accompaniment by organ and solo cello only.

Ok.... I fell in love with Durufle's Requiem in 1961 when Epic released the Erato recording with the composer conducting his fully orchestrated version. I still have that version and love it to pieces, but because of CC's incredible track history, I decided to get this one a while back in spite of it being the organ only version. It is fabulous! And after some months, after one of the best Super Bowl games I've ever seen, I decided to "come down" with this. I wish I could share with you the emotions of this fabulous version, and the absolutely perfect SACD sound Jared and his forces produced. If you enjoy beautiful choral music, don't hesitate.

This will live right up there with the composer's own full version as music I will never want to be without.

By the way, as I understand it, his reduced forces version, and this organ-only version came AFTER the fully orchestrated verion
