Perhaps those of you who find the SACD/CD difference more subtle could try this - and I apologize if this is something obvious - I don't mean to insult anyone's intelligence.
I always play the SACD version first and let the listener get good and comfortable with it. THEN switch to the CD layer. It's easier for the ear to hear "better-to-worse" differences than "worse-to-better." This has to do with our poor sonic memory, which is the reason for A/B comparison in the first place. Try always doing the hi-res format first. The CD by contrast should seem to close down from side to side, from front to back, and it should have a more muted or veiled sound from lack of HF extension.
Of course, the amount of perceived difference will vary with the source, recording technique, hearing acuity, playback system, etc.
Just a suggestion.

Frankly, I am quite surprised by the response as the total number of signatures almost doubled within one month. Even have signatures from professional reviewers on that petition.
Sony, if you are reading this, please contact me regarding sending that royalties check.... :)

I signed something like this a couple years ago. How do I check to see if I already signed this one? When I click on view signatures, I see a bunch of numbers. Clicking on one of them doesnt do much!
