I just picked up a Pioneer Elite PD-D6-J SACD/CD player for $250 shipped (2nd Day UPS Air from California to Florida) from Pioneer's website. Thought I would let you know of these excellent deals. I am impressed by the fit and finish. Have not had time to plug it in yet as I am still at my office (where I had the player shipped to). The PD-D6-J is going for $229 plus shipping (MSRP was $499) and the PD-D9-J is going for $579 plus shipping (MSRP was $999), from Pioneer's website.
Pioneer is introducing two new "G-Clef" models which from what I can tell are identical to the originals they are now clearing out, other than the gloss black finish and a nicer remote control. The brushed silver/grey aluminum finish of the originals looks much nicer in person than in pics, and won't show dirt and fingerprints as easily as the gloss black finish of the new models.
They also have the SX-A6-J stereo receiver on sale for $279.
