Does anyone know the theme music that was used for the classic BBC documentary series of the 1990's 'The Nazis - A Warning From History'?

I have been after a copy of this haunting piece for ages, especially on SACD.

If anyone does recognise it, could they recommend the best SACD version?

Many Thanks.

Thank you.
Could you recommend a version of this?

Best version on SACD is, IMHO, the Levine/BSO version. It's a very fine performance, and there may be a few somewhat better performances on RBCD, but nothing sounds better than this one, especially in Mch.

Agree with you but since then the BSO Live SACD experiment seems to have nose-dived, anybody know why?

Good question.

Basically due to Levine's absence because of back surgery. Everyone involved looking forward to continuing this concert year. All of Levine's, and several notable conductors BSO concerts still all recorded in stereo and MC.

FYI, the new SACD from BSO - Mozart: Symphonies: 14, 18, 20, 39, and 41 - is now on-sale!

PS My best wishes go to Maestro Levine!
