Considering the past MFSL releases, and the fact that AFAIK no quadraphonic version of the Foreigner album was ever released, it's a pretty darn good assumption ;)

According to Amazon Japan the release date of the Foreigner SACD is September 30th. Not sure if it's the official release date or something local to Japan, but I guess there'll be a delay anyway...

Usually, MoFi discs are first available at a few audiophile stores like Music Direct (which owns the label), Elusive disc and Acoustic Sounds, and only a few weeks later at general stores.

The DVD_Audio version of Foreinger's first cd is both stereo and surround - i have a copy

Well, the point of MoFi is to re-record the original tapes in the best possible way. If there are original quadraphonic tapes, then they may use them, but they very unlikely use an already remastered and remixed digital surround version.
Anyone has any news concerning the release dates? The MoFi website still mentions July 2010, while some other sites say it will be released this month. My money is on September, as the Japanese Amazon forecasted...

Elusive Disc (owner of the MoFi label) says August. As I wrote above, stores like amazon often receive their copies later.
