One way of doing this is: copy the Amazon ASIN number and 'search' it. You will be directed to the correct description.

Another is to follow the vendor links from this site as they've already been checked out. You'll also be helping contribute to the upkeep of this site. Just buying from a supported vendor doesn't.

You'll note that there is NO link from this site to the disc in question (ASIN B000PC0TJK).

Try ASIN B00303WQ3S on either site and go to details.

Nor this one. See a pattern?

Unfortunately your strategy of checking ASINs across multiple Amazon sites doesn't work as there are bona-fide SA-CDs listed but not identified as such. Anyway, this site provides a filter ... you're free to use it or not.

The best one I had was when I sent the (obligatory) email asking if it was really an SACD in stock and I got the reply 'let me know the ISBN number and I'll check.'

Yes, ISBN numbers ARE for books. Needless to say, I didn't order it.

As a marketplace seller I always describe the item as an SACD in my listing, and as a result I'm sure I earn sales even though there may be a lower priced item where the buyer is crossing his fingers that he will receive an SACD.

A similar problem occurs with the US Marketplace, too. I bought the Popov Symphony on Telarc, which was listed as an SACD, but it wasn't.
