Discussion: Beethoven: String Quartets Opp. 74 & 95 - Tokyo String Quartet

I have a couple of questions about this Beethoven string quartet cycle. First, was the two-disk set of the op 18 quartets ever published in SA-CD format? I have the RBCD version, but can't find any evidence that it was ever released as SA-CD. Second, the Tokyo String Quartet web-site mentions the final set (the late quartets) will be released "this spring". Any news of when that will be specifically, and will this final set be released as SA-CD? Tks so much.

The Op. 18's were released after Harmonia Mundi's support for SACD had started to wane. It was not released on SACD and if I were you I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the late quartets either. A shame since the first installments were quite nice!
