[from the Simax website]:

LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN: String Quartet No. 13 in B flat Major · Grosse Fuge in B flat Major

Vertavo [Quartet]
Berit Cardas, violin
Øyvor Volle, violin
Henninge Landaas, viola
Bjørg Værnes Lewis, cello

"Formed in 1984, the Vertavo is now established as one of the leading European string quartets. They collaborate with artists like Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Paul Lewis, Leif Ove Andsnes, Håkan Hardenberger and Martin Fröst. Among the many contemporary composers they have worked with are Ligeti, Adès, Widmann, Nørgård, Edlund and Asheim. Vertavo have received a number of international awards for their recordings."
----------------
The new Vertavo all appear in the Quintet on Mozart: Clarinet Concerto, Quintet - Martin Fröst. I know the Vertavo Kvartett from a 1996 recording of Nielsen's quartets, with the following personnel:

Elise Båtnes: violin
Berit Vaernes: violin
Henninge Båtnes: viola
Bjørg Vaernes: cello

Elise Båtnes is no longer primarius, but you can hear her play on Bartok - Elise Båtnes, Håvard Gimse. It looks like Berit, Hennige and Bjørg have done something to change their surnames; women sometimes do that when they meet a guy....
