Well I do not have anywhere near the extensive music collection of most of the other posts. I have around 300 titles. Of those about 80 are SACD. Twelve are MFSL remasters (non-SACD) and 80% of the redbook CDs are remastered versions. About 60% of my collection is rock & roll or folk of various genres. The other 40% is jazz and blues. No classical.
With the dramatic drop off in SACD non-classical releases my listening of SACD has decreased dramatically also. From listening to 75% SACD I am probably down to 35 or 30%. My last significant purchase of SACD was the Elton John and Eric Clapton releases. I love the format, but I am quite discouraged by the seeming death of popular releases.
Oh yes I have one DualDisc and no DVD-Audio, but I am not sure what you call the Neil Young DVD/CD combo Greatest Hits package.

30% SACD 30% CD 30% Airtunes 10% Vinyl
Love the SACD multichannel presentation & well controlled lows... still enjoying the redbook since I invested on a Chord DAC... Airtunes for pure convenience and actually sound pretty decent running thru the DAC... & Vinyl for still the best sounding lows & sweetness of vocals.

SACD and DVD-A together only about 10% of my collection but account for about 90% of my listening. Am seriously considering selling lots of RBCDs to fund purchase of some more SACDS.

About 1200 CDs, 50 SACDs, all classical bar a few jazz ones (Miles Davis and Bill Evans). SACD does tend to dominate home listening, but burning plenty of SACDs and CDs to listen on my Zen Micro mp3 player.

Only Classical: 500 CD's 25 SACD's
25/525 = 5% SACD
500/525 = 95% CD
(numbers have been rounded)

Seth scores a C+. With only 25 SA-CDs, he could make more effort.

Being a student with no income 9 months out of the year, I'm impressed with my patience, buying only when discs are on sale or turn up used.

Fair enough. My remark was purely in jest. When I was a student I got a job working nights (as a doorman at the Sydney Opera House). About 80% of my income went on LPs. The rest on rent, food, transport and other inconsequentials.
