Well it is January the 8th and there is no new pricing on amazon and JPC in sight, not even for pre order. I do not understand this. I just send an EMI an email. Let's see what happens.
I am not interested in the T-Shirt and I reckon it makes at least 20 Euro on the price so I would be more than happy if the Album would be available alone.

Thanks Ear,

Can't wait to hear what EMI says...I would love this title but would rather not pay extra for the T-Shirt...

Received mine today. Had the German version from previous, so got the International version. So these are definitely shipping and they are most certainly SACD.

So far I think the *only* place to get them is on Kraftwerk's site; I haven't found a place to order the GSA reissue yet.

I just purchased what I think is the last copy of the German Version (GSA) + T-Shirt, which I beleive has 1 more track on it compared to the International Version, from https://www.klingklang.de/. It is now showing as 'SOLD OUT'. I could not find the International/English version on this site.

OK, - now, - I'm a pretty big Kraftwerk fan. And, - I've had this DVD 5.1 channel recording for a long time now. What is so special about the SACD version? I may be mistaken, but the audio on the one that I have is DVD-A; which in my opinion is just as good, if not better than many SACDs anyway. (Judging from Bjork DVD-A's compared to the SACDs: the DVD-A's are slightly better. Those are the only identical things that I have on both DVD-A and SACD).

I would gladly pay $50 for this SACD and compare it to my DVD-A: which I paid $17 for. I'm just shocked at the huge price of 475 million yen. Did they only press up 11 copies?

Let me get this right... Are you saying you have an Advanced Resolution DVD Audio (24bit resolution) of Minimum-Maximum? I didn't know that Kraftwerk ever released a DVD Audio disc.
Or are you talking about a DTS5.1 DVD? If so I recon you may/should find the SACD will be better than the DTS. The SACD (if mastered correctly from the original source) should be of much higher resolution.
In some ways I agree with your comment about DVD Audio but I would also say that I have Bjork Vespertine in both SACD and DVD Audio formats and I think the SACD is better. There again I also have The Marvin Gaye Collection in both DVD audio and SACD and I prefer the DVD Audio.
Also I do think DVD Audio are alot more consistent with good sound than SACD's. Most of my DVD Audio discs, and I have many, all sound very good bar a couple. I have many SACD's and I would describe quite a few as mediocre and some rather disappointing.

Sold out????? OK if the new release date I found in another online shop (Jan 15th) will pass without any info, I say F.U. EMI and don't you dare telling me you do not issue SACD's because they do not sell.

Well, no answere from EMI yet, wrote another mail. Let's wait and see. But I get the feeling that we will not see any more of this rerelease. Seems like one Exec has found out about the plans and pulled the plug just before any 'damage' was done. I am so getting sick of this. Well hope dies last.

My guess is that this SACD was never meant to be reissued, and that only a few remaining copies were found and sold through Kraftwerk's store.

Wow...

Interesting thought, and the-more-cynical-me thinks that you may be dead on with that comment.

Thanks for your comments. I'll check my disc out more thoroughly and see EXACTLY what it is.
Thanks too regarding your comments on Bjork.

Cheers,
