Can anybody recommend a really great SACD rendition of Concierto de Aranjeuz? My benchmark is the Paco de Lucia RBCD, which I think is a stellar performance...
Thanks!

Try the Angel Romero (on the Mercury SACD). I have this, it works well. Heard him do it live just last year as well.

Listening to this right now (in 2 channel, unfortunately) - very nice performance, with good sound.

Carlos Bonell does an absolute wonderful job in this well recorded Membran disc. A little bit on the sharp side... but plenty plenty of detail and instrument presence. Worthwhile recording, and definitely a recommended buy. Rodrigo: Concierto de Aranjuez - Bonell/RPO/Kaspszyk
